Lady Death: Demonicron is a gloriously bloody love letter to the golden age of arcade beat 'em ups, blending chunky swordplay, dark magic and comic-book excess with a thunderous industrial-metal soundtrack. Its combat may not reinvent the genre, but the sheer enthusiasm with which it embraces its 1990s influences makes it hard not to smile.
