4 The Elements combines classic 90s platforming with a clever real-time character-switching system that puts Fire, Water, Earth and Air at the heart of every puzzle, fight and exploration challenge. Colourful elemental worlds, unlockable abilities and giant guardian battles give this charming Metroidvania plenty of personality, even if it occasionally plays things a little safer than its brilliant central idea deserves.
