Exodus is shaping up to be an ambitious space RPG, where spectacular combat and memorable companions could be matched by an even more fascinating idea: what happens when every journey into deep space changes the world you left behind?

Godzilla: Destroy All Monsters Melee Remastered isn't trying to reinvent the kaiju brawler. Instead, Pipeworks Studios is taking one of the most enjoyable monster-fighting games from the early 2000s, rebuilding its battered cities in Unreal Engine 5 and adding the modern features fans have been waiting for.

Final Fantasy VII Revelation looks set to send Cloud and his companions on their biggest adventure yet, with the Highwind’s freedom, a dramatically expanded world, new playable characters and a deeper combat system all leading to the final confrontation with Sephiroth. The real challenge will be giving this extraordinary journey an ending worthy of everything that came before. If Square Enix gets it right, this could be a finale fans remember for years to come.

Spyro: A Realm Beyond isn't simply bringing the purple dragon back. It finally gives him the freedom to truly fly, while preserving the collecting, exploration and charm that made the original trilogy so special. If Toys for Bob can turn that freedom into genuinely inventive level design, this could be the Spyro comeback fans have been waiting nearly two decades for.

Stage Tour looks set to bring the plastic guitar era roaring back, blending classic five-fret rhythm gameplay with a modern Tour structure, a broad soundtrack and plenty of opportunities to make a spectacular noise with friends. It still has plenty to prove before launch, but RedOctane Games appears to understand that the magic was never just about hitting notes. It was about getting together, turning up the volume and feeling like a rockstar for a few minutes.

Farming Simulator 25: Beans & Alpacas Edition looks set to be another wonderfully deep and relaxing agricultural adventure. Coffee estates, fluffy alpacas, new production chains and a vibrant, South American-inspired landscape could give even veteran farmers plenty of fresh work to get stuck into.

Transport Fever 3 looks set to turn the humble act of moving people and cargo into an enormous, living puzzle. With smarter cities, deeper logistics, more than a century of transport history, and a world that reacts to the networks you create, Urban Games could be on the verge of delivering the definitive transport management experience.

The Slormancer may begin with a hero who has no talent, but the game itself is anything but lacking in ambition. Beneath its charming pixel art and wonderfully silly humour lies a colossal action RPG packed with weapons, abilities, elemental powers and build options.

Phantom Blade Zero is shaping up to be a spectacular fusion of Wuxia martial arts, dark fantasy and futuristic madness. With breathtaking choreography, lightning-fast swordplay and a wonderfully strange kungfupunk world, S GAME could have one of the standout action RPGs of the generation on its hands.

Clive Barker’s Hellraiser: Revival looks set to drag players kicking and screaming into one of horror’s most twisted universes. With the Genesis Configuration providing a fascinating supernatural gameplay hook, a deeply personal story and the return of Doug Bradley as Pinhead, Saber Interactive could have something genuinely special on its hands.
