Stage Tour looks set to bring the plastic guitar era roaring back, blending classic five-fret rhythm gameplay with a modern Tour structure, a broad soundtrack and plenty of opportunities to make a spectacular noise with friends. It still has plenty to prove before launch, but RedOctane Games appears to understand that the magic was never just about hitting notes. It was about getting together, turning up the volume and feeling like a rockstar for a few minutes.
