ARK: Tides of Fortune finally gives the ocean the adventure it has always deserved. With customisable ships, explosive naval battles and a charming cinematic story led by Karl Urban’s Bob, it delivers one of ARK’s most ambitious expansions yet. Unfortunately, technical problems and a familiar lack of polish prevent this pirate adventure from reaching legendary status.

A solid, if inconsistent, blend of submarine strategy and real-time naval action; atmospheric and accessible, but ultimately modest in depth and mechanical refinement.
