Ghetto Zombies: Graffiti Squad is a wonderfully daft zombie shooter packed with mutant heroes, ridiculous weapons, colourful graffiti and some of the strangest undead creatures you are likely to encounter. Its repetitive objectives and occasional reload frustrations hold it back from greatness, but the vibrant presentation, satisfying shooting and infectious sense of humour make it a thoroughly enjoyable, retro-inspired blast.

Pattern Pulse keeps things wonderfully simple, combining memory challenges and rapid-reflex tests with a bright neon arcade presentation. It may lack the depth and variety of larger puzzle games, but its quick sessions and addictive score-chasing make it an enjoyable little brain workout when you fancy testing yourself without committing to something enormous.
